                 Morning carpool rules

When dropping off children in the morning, please follow these rules:

* Please pull all the way forward, eliminating as much space as is reasonable between your vehicle and the one in front of you and let your children out of the vehicle only at the designated drop-off spot. This will keep the line moving and will make it possible for staff and volunteers to keep a closer eye on your children as they make their way down the sidewalk to enter the building.
* Stay in a single line. There have been MANY near-miss accidents among people attempting to pull out of the carpool line and pass on the left.
* Let your children out ONLY on the RIGHT side. Some people are going to break the rules by passing on the left and we do not want your children to be hit.
* Make sure your children have their things gathered and that they are are ready to get out as soon as you reach the drop-off point. Say a quick good-bye and have them close the door so you can move forward. This will keep the carpool line moving, and isn't that really what we all want?

We know you're in a hurry in the mornings, and we really do want you to help you get on your way as quickly as possible - safely!
